Pascal Vonlanthen: Spring 2017 Artist Collaborator
For the Spring 2017 collection Jason collaborated with Pascal Volanthen. The Swiss artist has a unique and intuitive approach to his work that captured Jason’s interest. Pascal’s art is influenced by French newspaper print which inspired him to create simple yet colorful graphics using the repetition of letters. Pascal’s vibrant and graphic artwork is translated throughout the collection in embroidery, sequin details and whimsical prints. Vonlanthen is a member of CREAHM, a shared studio that facilitates workshops and shows for artists with mental disabilities. He is unable to read French or German, so his interaction with news media is translated in a uniquely graphic way through his art.
